WHY SHOES?!
I think I made a big mistake by introducing the shoe topic when I know that the primary viewing audience are of the female gender, but this is just nuts. Why Beav, why!?
The home, nay, the paradise of a diverse collection of people who are incapable of making up their minds about what the title should be. Oh yeah, we also comment a lot on posts. ;) Now spam-free!

(*Kim throws an especially evil glare in Beav's direction*) No, you're not even dead to me. Because my feet deserve it, that is WHY!!!!!
What, Kim? Your feet deserve bunions and hammertoes? Is that what they deserve?
(*Annie decides that she can still be loyal to Kim and switch sides, so does so*)
ooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo, 'especially' evil....I'm so skeered. PuLEASE don't hurt me, Kimmie. ;)
Hahahahahahahahaha. Poor Kim. (*Annie is torn between her desire to defend Kim and her desire to wage war against the shoe cause*)
speaking of shoes...there is a guy on campus who doesnt wear shoes...AT ALL!!! I saw him out shoeless when it was snowing! Shoes are a reasonable accessory. You should start an argument about handbags. That is rediculous. Who needs 10 (besides my room mate)?
Emily, I forced myself to go shoe shopping after a cold and wet weekend in Seattle with Bonnie, during which I wore only flip flops and sandals. The sandals are worn out now, so I think I actually did throw them away, but after that oh man.....it was so cold. Yes, I am very thankful to have shoes during the winter, even though this winter has been really really mild. And handbags....who needs them really? I carry a wallet.
(*Seething rage at the 'Kimmie' comment*) Annie!!! You are on my side, even if you hate the shoe debate. Cause I think it all started about shoes and chick flicks, and I KNOW you like chick flicks. I need more than 10 pairs of shoes!!! Variety is the spice of life, am I the only one to have ever heard this?
Kim, you are right, I do like chick flicks, but I don't expect a guy to like them, just like I don't feel like guys should expect me to like things like....Black Hawk Down (it was soooooo violent and gory (I watched it with my brother)) or those horror movies you and Cherize watch. And the shoes thing....well, it's a hopeless case, you know. I can try to like shoe shopping, but in the end, it will be like me trying to like coffee; I'll try it, but it never works. I am a lost cause....=\
jeepers creepers Kim, calm down. No need to 'seethe' with rage. ^_^
Annie, you must not be trying on the wrong shoes. I can understan not liking to shop, but not liking shoes is mind blowing. It is the shoes that make the outfit. The secret is to get 3 pairs that match everything and will last forever.
no, she's just one of the few sensible girls in the world.
Amen, brother. (At least about the not liking shoes part)

Hahahahahah, thanks so much for the support, Dan. Emily, my outfits are more or less determined by what happens to be clean. My socks are very often entirely the wrong color for my blouse when I go to work, and my shoes are just a lost cause. And yes, I guess I do have the wrong kind of shoes because I shop in the guys' section for the most part (size 9 guys shoes =\). My outfits are already rather random, so the shoes can just be one more thing to add to the list.
I am now 22 minutes late to Cherize's birthday party. How tacky.
Whatever, maybe my collection is a bit extensive. I don't wear half the heels I own. I only have about three favorite pairs of heels. And besides those, it's really only my chucks and my boots. So, Beav... you win.
I must agree that guys shoes are best. They last longer, are cheaper, are more comfortable and easier to fined (in my size at least). Annie, I feel your pain. I tend to wear a 9 in mens too. (Did I mention that I am done with finals!!! I even passed chem!)
/puts hand to ear; what's that Kim? What did you say? I couldn't hear you ;D
And Annie, if you were 22 minutes late at the time that you posted that comment, did her party start at 5:02pm? That's just weiwd.
Steve, it said on my computer that it was 5:22. And you are a gloater! Heh, thats pretty funny. You know what Kim? He'll probably turn out to be another Steven Jakeman and like....accidentally stab himself in the hand with a pencil, and then make it seem like you did it. ;)
Hey! Just because I'm a hazard to myself and others around me doesn't give you the right to make fun of me!!!
So what would give me the right to make fun of you? Because I totally want that right. Not that I won't tease you even if I don't have it.
Yes, Beav YOU WON. Woo........hoo.............
What I want to know, why was I the first person at the party? How sad is that? I am the tardy, flaky late one... those who came after me should just be ashamed. Except you Annie, cause you had work. ;)
Famous Footwear is EVIL. They carry hardly any shoes for anyone over the size of nine/ten.
Actually, Kim, I nearly showed up on time....but then, I decided that it was stupid that my gift wasn't wrapped, so I just drove by her house and went to my house to wrap the gift in that blue Jewish wrapping paper, which made me late late late. And I totally bought my Vans shoes that I'm wearing right as I type this at Famous Footwear. Vans and Airwalks are the coolest shoes. And Coverse are pretty cool, too. Bonnie and I were trying to decide what Mike Foisey (sp?) (the bass player at church) would have looked like as a child, and decided that he must have still worn the Converses even back then. :)
Dr. Martens are the best. They may be expensive in the US, but they last forever and are extremely comfortable. They also tone your legs cuz they are like wearing ankle weights.
From what I hear about the WSU campus, your legs should already be toned.
very true, but for extra tone doc's work great.
Ok, I just wanted to make sure that I heard you correctly, Kim. ;)
Tell you what, you give me the extra ton......and I probably won't spend it on doc martens. But I will appreciate the gesture of kindness. ;)
wait...extra ton? I thought you were opposed to obscene amounts of shoes, Annie!! And here I thought we were on a plane of understanding....
Oh.....I guess I misread Emily's comment........I thought it said, "for an extra ton (meaning money, heh), doc's work great." Does it surprise you that there are actually dyslexic tendencies in my family? We are back on the same page, Beav. I am still on your side, if somewhat bewildered and lost in my own attempt at understanding simple phrases. Soon I will be moved to one of the padded cells.....
heh, ok ^_^
I'm with you on the not liking shoe shopping or coffee no matter how many times I try it Annie. If I shopped in the guy shoe department I'd be wearing 9 too.
It's so sad to be so short and have such big feet. (curse my dad.)Tennis shoes are my friends.
Sally
Yay for Sally! If I didn't know that that was you saying all of that stuff, I might have mistaken it for something I said. :) It's great to be on the same side, chica!
Would killing your clone be murder or suicide?
If someone with multiple personalities threatened to kill themselves, is it really a hostage situation?
These are the questions that beg to be answered...
.......This is what comes of you being in psychology again. Where did you pick up these questions? I've heard them before, I think......
Killing your clone is murder. No clone is exactly the same as the person cloned (cloneie?).
SEAL
I'm going to sit this one out.
Heh, Annie, the only reason you've heard these questions before is because they were used in a game night.

And Kim, since you're system admin, why didn't you just make a new post? Yours is like a post.....but really a comment. Not that I guess I don't have those.......
I have been out of the comment loop. :) Although I like shoes, I own one pair of heels, two tennies, and various other pairs of shoes, most of them flip-flops. Heh. Most of my shoes are so worn out that they're trash can fodder, but I'm too cheap to throw them out. ;) That's another thing about me. I don't outgrow clothes, I wear them out. I wear them out through things like stair rail sliding and floor crawling with the kiddies. :)
