DUN DUN! DUN DUN! DUN DUN DUN... DUN DUN!
I'm going to continue with the 'favorite thing' tradition that we have going and ask a highly important question of everyone: what is your name!? What is your quest!? What is the air-speed velocity of a flying sparrow!?
Nah, actually I want to know everyone's taste in music. I'll attempt to start the proverbial ball rolling with my own preferences. I enjoy classical music while I'm studying/reading, and I like rock while I'm doing anything that doesn't require large amounts of thought.
As for the dislikes? Heh... {draws in a deep breath} Country music sucks! There, I've said it ;)

Well Margarete you know I enjoy country and Christian music. Especially Terri Clark in country and Nicole Nordeman and Watermark for Christian.
Note to Margaret: you asked+I answered= no snide/sarcastic comments.
Rap is the devil.
That may be your style, Sally, but it's not mine. Nice try on the guilt trip, though ;)
I can handle anything except rap, death metal, and country.
I also have an intense dislike for rap.
I have nothing more to add . . . every kind of music that I dislike has been named. Except for pop music. For whatever reason, I don't really keep up with the trends. And as Margaret knows, (as she's perhaps read the journal post on my deviant art site) I make no false claims as to "taste" in music. I have none. Really. :)
I do however, thoroughly enjoy Steven Curtis Chapman and Five Iron Frenzy, as everyone who has ever talked to me about music knows. :D
P.S. I think you should get a deviant art site, chica! :) No scanner? Pfft! Use one from the Monroe library or some such.
Anything but hip-hop or rap (with the exception of a small amount of songs). And the really twangy country music... but otherwise I enjoy all sorts of music, YES EVEN COUNTRY AND POP MUSIC. Oh, and the really metal rock... the kind that doesn't even sound like music, but more like someone screaming into the mic excessively.
I like the stuff that sounds a little bit folksy sometimes. Like Jars of Clay's first album. And Caedmon's Call. Also, anything that has really good piano music in it has a way of forcing me to like the song (bands that have songs like this include Maroon 5, The Counting Crows, Ben Folds, and one of my all time favorites, the Cider House Rules soundtrack). I like Five Iron Frenzy, too, especially when with someone else that knows the words to 'superpowers'. :D
I like jazz, classical, hard rock, some pop, very little country (the pop/rock country) and of course all christian music that falls into the afore mentioned catagories
Hee hee! "Bacon bits and jalepenos, on my polish hotdog!" I met some of the people that Bethany babysits for in California, and they named one of their boys Caedmon after Caedmon's call. At first I thought they had said caiman, which is of course a type of alligator.
That's kinda random Bonnie.
Heh. I just realized that whole sentence about Caedmon's Call had a distinctly Snickety flavor. It's starting to rub off on me. I'm on book seven Annie! :D
Heh. So you like them by now? Aren't they addicting after a while?
