Postage

As previously mentioned, I believe it's time for a new conversation topic... Being rather short on ideas at the moment, and posessed with a burning desire to go play metroid prime, I'll just quote something out of my logic textbook; "For example, 'this door must be closed at all times' is the sort of rule one might write on a door, but not the sort of rule one would write on a rosebush."
So I ask you, what is the sort of rule one might write on a rosebush? ;)

Here's an obvious one: beware of thorns. Dont smell the flowers! Water regularly.

Well, if the owner of said rosebush is one of those people who think trees have a soul, and all that garbage, then I suppose it may say, "This bush is to be admired and not smelled; how would you like it if a person came up and just smelled you?"

or maybe, "Do not de-thorn"

I would put a sign on it that said, "Caution, this rose bush bites" or maybe if I was in a strange mood, I'd put a sign on it that said "Plese do not feed the monkeys" just to throw people off. ;)

I'm going to have to agree with Bonnie on sheer randomness value. A proper sign for a rosebush would read "None of this nonsense, please" or "Beware of static electricity." Annie, why did you remove your comment?? I still remember it, you know. {evil grin}

Yes, Margaret, you know me for the idiot I am, but perhaps I can still save part of my reputation with the rest of the group. Doubtful, I know, but I thought I'd try anyway.

You should republish it and tarnish Annie's name even more. (:

Why must my name be purple?!?!? WHY!?!?!??! I have learned to tolerate pink that most horrid of colors but that tolerance does not yet extend to purple!!!! I refuse to wear it! So why, why, why is my profile name purple on this blog?!?!! Other people get to be blue, why can't I??? Waaaahhh!

Wow. Bethany's purple phase has really scared you for life.

Um, Bonnie......surely you're kidding.

But if you're not, it's purple because you've viewed your profile lately. If you want to get rid of the purpleness, clear your history, or at least delete anything dealing with Blogger.

Yes! No more purpley-ness! Steve does not know the horrors inflicted upon me by my sister's purple phase . . . the hand-me-downs were purple . . . the playhouse was purple . . . it was just too darn much!

If that be the case, I'm surprised you and I are still on chatting terms on aim. I've been talking to you online with those colors since.......since I got instant messenger, pretty much. I've tried changing a few times, but it's no use. :/ Maybe if you and Kim got a petition or something going, then I might be persuaded.......

Heh. Annie, I'm fine with purple for other people, just not for me. Purple is a perfectly fine color for flowers to wear, but not for Bonnie to wear. ;) I am not bothered by a purple background in AIM. :)

What is your favorite color?

When I was little, red. Now? Blue. :D

Orange. When I was younger, I thought Michaelangelo was the most awesome Ninja Turtle...even if he didn't use dual katanas like Leonardo.

Plus, the color's vibrant.

Green is the most awesome color, it wins my vote hands-down. It reminds me of summer, new life and new spring grass.

It depends. If we're talking about clothes colors, I'd say red. If we're talking about colors around us, I'd probably say blue, because nothing beats a gorgeous blue sky, and Yakima has plenty to offer most the time. :) And Margaret, I will agree with you on the green to an extent in that it's beautiful, but you have to be picky about which greens you like. I am afraid that I can't just like any old green that I see. But I guess I should, as my eyes are mostly green, and thus one of my supposedly good colors :\ ...... Actually, I'll probably just stick to wearing the red clothes. They're so pretty. However, green looks good on you, so you have your greens, I'll stick with my reds, and together we'll be Christmassy :D

A purple playhouse? Never mind.

I love red. Yep, it's the bestest color. My room and bed are red.

Anna tell me what you posted and deleted. Was it super mean or something? I could just ask Margaret, you know.
